Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of the website, systems, platforms and services provided by BitsToBug Studios LLP. It forms part of our Terms of Use and, where applicable, of any services agreement between us.

1. General principle

You must use our website, systems and services lawfully, responsibly, and in a manner that does not harm us, our clients, other users or the public.

2. Prohibited activities

2.1 Unlawful and harmful conduct

  • Any activity that violates applicable law or regulation, or infringes the rights of any person.
  • Publishing, transmitting or storing material that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or that promotes violence or discrimination.
  • Any activity involving the exploitation, abuse or endangerment of children.
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, patent and trade secret.

2.2 Security violations

  • Unauthorised access to, or attempted access to, any system, network, account or data.
  • Probing, scanning or testing the vulnerability of any system or network without prior written authorisation, save as permitted under our Responsible Disclosure Policy.
  • Introducing malware, ransomware, or any code intended to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access.
  • Circumventing authentication, access controls, rate limits or usage restrictions.
  • Interfering with service to any user, host or network, including through denial of service activity.

2.3 Misuse of data

  • Harvesting, scraping or collecting information about other users without authorisation.
  • Using our systems to process personal data unlawfully, or in breach of any applicable data protection law.
  • Uploading data you are not authorised to disclose, or which is subject to third party restrictions you have not satisfied.

2.4 Misuse of artificial intelligence capabilities

Where we provide access to artificial intelligence features or models, you must not use them to generate unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, to impersonate any person without disclosure, to produce material that infringes third party rights, to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effect on individuals without appropriate human oversight and legal basis, or to attempt to extract, reverse engineer or circumvent model safeguards.

3. Client responsibilities

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of credentials and promptly reporting any suspected compromise.
  • Ensuring that persons accessing our systems through the client's account comply with this Policy.
  • Obtaining all consents, licences and legal bases required for data provided to us for processing.

4. Reporting and enforcement

Suspected violations should be reported to support@bitstobug.com. We investigate all reports and may, at our discretion and without liability, issue a warning, suspend or restrict access, terminate an engagement, remove or disable content, preserve evidence, or report the matter to law enforcement or a regulator. Where practicable and lawful, we will notify the affected party before taking action.

5. Changes

We may update this Policy to address new risks or legal requirements. The current version is always published on this page with the last updated date shown above.
